My good friend Shun Kuroki form the famous Japanese Mill Kuroki just sent me some new developments....they have developed a 32oz Denim!!! I have never seen anything like it before. Earlier this year we completed a few days consulting for Standard Issue in New Zealand. They are one of the only people who still make garments below the office and in pure New Zealand Lambswool. You would think there are hundreds when you consider the amount of sheep around. The final product and new website that we worked on has just been launched. Website build was by The Church.

I have just spent 5 days in Marrakech. Great place to spend New Year. If you go make sure you check out Foundouk in the heart of the Medina for dinner, Comptoir for drink and La Pause for a night out in the desert. If you have a hot sunny afternoon to laze about then head out to La Plage Rouge for some relaxed food and music by a huge pool.

After seeing my post a few weeks ago my friend Boy gave me a book on Theo Jansen called "The Great Pretender" published by 010 publishers. Its a very detailed overview of his work and his ideas. Well worth a read. Also comes with a DVD showing some of his weird creations.

Just got down to France after a week in Barcelona showing Atelier La Durance at the Bread and Butter Fair. The sun was shining and it was good to meet up with some old friends. It was a long week as I was also in charge of the Tough Jeans Stand. The show did not seem as international as usual and the visitors seemed less, but it was a good fair. I especially liked the Amnesty /Nudie exhibition up
